One of my earliest memories was as a three-year-old child.  My mom had just opened up a box given to us by a family from church.  It contained lots of “new clothes”—hand-me-downs that were several sizes too large—but I was overjoyed!  I begged to wear them, but of course, they would not fit yet.

Now that I’m a mother, I think back to that moment all those years ago.  As a child, I did not know that clothes originally came with tags.  But my mother did.  How happy would it have made my mother to be able to give me a brand new dress?  To be warmed with pride because she knew the gift she gave me was good.  That it would be accepted by me, her daughter, with wide eyes and childish zeal.

With that in mind, the idea of New With Tags was born.  Know that every time you clothe your little one in something á La Modish, you are helping give a child in need new clothes—with tags.  á La Modish donates a portion of its proceeds from each sale to mothers who might not otherwise be able to provide their children with new clothing.
